Day two: Operation No Bottles

Operation No Bottles is going way better than Jake or I ever expected. The kids didn't have one bottle yesterday and they did great. They ate like champs and were overall much more content than normal. They slept better too. They had pancakes for breakfast and applesauce for a morning snack. After their nap we had chicken nuggets, mac and cheese and green beans for lunch. They took a nap and then they had apples for afternoon snack and then played until dinner where they had chicken breast and green beans and grapes for dessert. They did get their nighttime bottle with no cereal, and tonight we are trying half formula half water and Friday night will get rid of the bottle completely. They have slept without a peep for the past two nights. From seven to seven and yesterday I had to finally wake them up in the morning so we could get our grocery shopping done! Hopefully, everything new we try will go this well!

Here is a pic of the kids yesterday morning all bundled up on our way to Wal-Mart. It was cold and rainy but we had no food so I couldn't wait on Jake to get home.

Oh I so long for that day. I want them to stay babies forever until I start making bottles.
Their weights are awesome! Give yourself a huge pat on the back!!

It's great when they begin new habits...espcially when we dont have to force it!
