Safe and Sound

Well we made it safe and sound to Tulsa. The kids slept the entire way which is a testament to how bad they feel. They are playing really well though and sound much better than they did even last night.

On another note. The kids and I made it up here with just two suitcases, the stroller and an exer-saucer! You have no idea how exciting it is to be able to fit everything in the back of the van and not have the entire thing loaded so full you have to be a famous acrobat to get the kids in and out! The first time the kids and I came to Tulsa, they were a month old and I was in my best friends wedding. We had the whole van packed to the ceiling. Suitcases, bouncy chairs, breast pump, bottles, formula, blankets, burp cloths, frozen breast milk, the whole shebang! And that was just for two days. Now all we need is clothes, diapers, and 3 sippy cups! Burp cloths, bottles, and formula were three bags all on their own. Needless to say, packing and traveling is much easier the older they get. Now ask me in a few months when we are trying to potty train and take a five hour trip how easy it is!

Hi there-I found your blog through a friend and I just wanted to say that instead of Maalox, you can also use pepto-bis-mal. I have had sores in my mouth and my mom used it on my sister when she was a baby and it worked great.
Just wanted to let you know!!

Just a heads up for the future, this is a great potty chair to travel with. We have one and it is great for those stops that need to be NOW!!! Wish you good luck and hope it goes better than we are right now. My 2 yr old has no iterest. Pray it's like our first and they are potty trained by 21 mo. :)

I love your blog! Don't even remember how I found you, but I check often! My daughter potty trained before she was 2, my son at 3... they all do it in their own time (like everything else with children!) LOL! Your children are gorgeous!
