18 Month Check-Up

Well the kids had their 18 month check-up at the doctor yesterday. Overall he said they are perfect. They aren't saying alot of words but they are very vocal so he isn't worried. He said they'll talk when they're ready. Developmentally, they are right where they are supposed to be. He said that we can start offering them potty chairs, so we'll see how that goes!

The boys are tall and skinny and Ella is just a big girl.
Hudson - 23 lb 8 oz (25%) 32" (50%) 18.75 (50%)
Ella - 26 lb 8 oz (90%) 31.5" (50%) 19.75 (90%)
Carter - 23 lb 10 oz (25%) 31.5" (50%) 19" (50%)
So as you can see, the boys are built a little more like me and Ella is built a little more athletic. That's what Dr. McGehee calls it! He's too kind!

Well we are off to find the perfect potty chairs and start to test them out. I don't expect anything to actually happen, but what's the harm in trying. So tonight before bath, we will have "Naked Potty Party Time!" Check back tomorrow for pics. I'm sure it will be interesting!

Congrats on the great check up! My twins are just about 2 weeks older than your 3 so its fun to compare what they are doing. I'm a teacher and tomorrow is my last day of work for the summer...mission #1 of the summer? Potty training! Good luck to you, too!

Awwwww...your kids are perfect size! Victoria is 2 years 2 months and just turned 26 pounds! She is 35 inches tall though.

We are starting to master potty training this coming week. She is old enough to go on the potty. She gets it, she is just stubborn and thinks that she needs to do the opposite of what you tell her to do. Rebellious? I think so.

Anyway, good luck with yours!
