Look who's walkin' now!

The Big Timer is starting to cruise. And not by pushing his little car around. I mean real time walking. OK, so not alot, but he did take several steps last night by himself. Here's the video proof.

Isn't that awesome! And to answer some questions. Yes those are the kids in the background cheering him on. They like to watch through the little screen on the camera and say "Hi" to whoever they see, hence my goofy waving at the camera. And no those are not leg warmers Charlie is wearing. Those are cut up socks I put on his legs because his poor tiny little baby knees are bright red and beat up and raw. They just look painful. And the two little dogs in the back on the blanket covered "doggy seat", as the kids call it, are Kirby and Klunkers.

"My Jesus"

So the kids have started to have full conversations. With each other, with me, with anyone. So when we were in the car a couple weeks ago, Ella struck up a little convo with me which was nothing abnormal. But the dialoughe that followed, totally cracked my face up. A little recap:

Ella: Momma?
Me: Yes Ell?
Ella: My a girl like you?
Me: Yes, you are a girl like me.
Ella: My a good girl
Me: Yes, most of the time you are a good girl.
Ella: My a strong girl.
Me: Yes, you are very strong.
Ella: (Pause) MY JESUS!
Me: (Stunned silence)Uhhhh, no sister, you aren't Jesus.
Ella: No momma, my Jesus. (said very matter-of-factly)
Me: No, I'm sorry, you are not Jesus.
Hudson: (From the backseat) My Jesus?
Me: NO! No one in this car is Jesus!
Ella: OK! Can we go eat Chicky-Fries?
Me: Holy Moly.

They have been talking about Jesus alot. When we drive past church, they say "That where we see Jesus". When they see anything Christmas, "Oh that baby Jesus". They like to show me how they pray in chapel. But this was the first time any of them have every actually though they were Jesus. I'm sure it's just one of many strange conversations we will have over the next eighteen years.

Charlie is 9 months old!

I can't believe the Big Timer is less than three months away from being ONE!!! First of all he is still AWESOME! He has developed a killer and sometimes difficult personality. We have decided he would have been a terrible triplet and a very difficult only child. He hates to be held. He goes ALL THE TIME! If one of the triplets has to go to the bathroom I get them in the bathroom ready to go, I put Charlie sit him in the kitchen and run as fast as I can to wipe/redress a kid and there he is with his head or hands in the toilet. I try to hold him, but he is ridiculously squirmy. Like wild, crazy squirmy, almost too hard to hold. Our pedi even said he has never seen a kid move so much in all his years of practice. He is a champ of an eater. He eats breakfast, lunch and dinner with us, and bottles in between the meals. He chases the big kids and gets so frustrated when he can't go as fast as them, even though he is pretty darn close! He has started to let go of things and take step. I would say he will be walking in the next month. He is still sleeping pretty good and loving his days alone when the kids are at school. Oh, and he needs a haircut way bad, but I'm trying to hold off a little longer.

Here is Charlie baby with his bear and the trips for comparison.

We're still here!

So our computer bit the big almost four weeks ago. Luckily my parents had my brother's old one and brought it down last week when they came for a visit. So the process of getting all of the old pics and video off the old one and on to the "new" one has begun. I'm trying to do a little bit everyday and I am almost done. I have lots to blog about. Charlie is 9 months old! The kids started school this week, and Ella apparantly believes she is Jesus. We've been on many adventures with our friends Marlee, Lilly, Beau, and Cohen, including a train with no seats that doesn't move which confused the kids immensely. So lots to post about over the next few weeks, but until then here is a pic of the little cuties!

This was last week on our way to meet their teachers at school
